Should I apply to the US if I want to do medicine?
I have managed to get a good set of GCSE results this year and am seriously considering medicine in either the UK or US. I was wondering whether it is actually worth applying to do medicine in the US because I know it takes longer and you have to sit SATs etc.
I am really only considering applying to the US as a back up just in case I don't get into a uni in the UK. I am currently studying for UKCAT AND BMAT. I have quite a few extra curricular activities(e.g. rowing, flute, dofe, regular work experience, extra clubs to gain brownie points!)
I'm already doing a lot and I'd be even busier if I were to prepare for SATs and stuff. I just want advice on whether it is actually worth putting all the effort in uni applications and SATs and ACTs for uni's that are back ups????

no because can only do medicine as a graduate in america, and doing your undergrad + graduate in america would be expensive unless you can get a scholarship or your rich
