As Grades

I got BBC in my AS results and I want to study Philosophy and English but all the entry requirements are either AAA or AAB.

B- RE
B- English
C- History
AS- Psychology, U

I'm retaking both history exams and my psychology.
Would it be possible for me to still apply to those unis with the AAB offers?

Assuming you're close to the A boundaries in RE and English, and close to the B boundary in History, then you can be realistically predicted AAB for those courses and thus apply.

Problems *may* come in though - with some universities - in that you haven't got a grade in a 4th AS.

Thank you! I'm retaking my AS, and my history and I'm hoping to get an A in both of them.
I'm considering York, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Liverpool and Oxford Brookes as a back up (BBC)
