    Twitching eye lid
My eyelid has been twitching since yesterday morning. I am quite worried. It is constant and very annoying
    Has anyone experienced this before?

I get this sometimes when i'm tired, sometimes it lasts for quite a long time. Even if i'm not feeling particularly tired, if I haven't slept a normal amount of hours (i rarely do ) then it might happen

I can't imagine it's anything to worry about. Perhaps the reason why it started is still causing it to happen (tiredness, stress etc.)
It may of even stopped for a period of time without you noticing, maybe even when you were asleep.

It'll go eventually. I don't think it has any connections to serious problems.

If you've been using the computer a lot recently, try to stay away for a bit

The thing is that my job resolves with computers, so I can't really take a rest.
I remenber that the night before that I have been trying out glasses, so maybe that's the cause. I am still worried though

It's called blepharospasm and is often experienced when someone is tired/ stressed/ has consumed a lot of caffeine. Get some sleep and relax, and it should go away .

Tired, stressed and caffeine. Had myokymia a lot on and off in recent years, probably due to my physically demanding life. It's annoying(can last for months) but it goes away if you get adequate rest; namely sleep. So get some ZZZZ's

Was it constant? (not stopping) It is not stopping that's why I am worried.

yeah it was constant, everytime whilst i was studying(laptop), watching TV. Best thing for me was to work in backlit conditions and clearly get some rest rest, it's not a life-threating condition so not a lot to worry about so chill. Initially i kept fiddling with my eyelid(thought was a trapped nerve and probably is sometime) but that never remedied the problem + do something to take your mind of it>> anything physical helps.

Lol, this happened to me a few months back (happens every now and again).

I was just casually talking to someone when *wobble* *spasm* *flbubeuslu*

The worst was I didn't know whether it was noticeable so I just carried on talking, potentially with a ******* eyelid

Yep, I've had it before. It was so annoying! Lasted for about a week and then stopped by itself. I found keeping my eye cool helped to keep the twitches at bay for a while at least. Apparently it is quite common.

I had it incessantly in my arm for about two weeks. It was annoying but it just went when I got more sleep.

Its very common and im pretty sure nothing to worry about.
Ive heard it can be related to potassium deficency, so maybe get some vitamins and see if that helps??

Sounds like myokymia. Usually goes away of its own accord within a few days. You can try cutting down on caffeine &/or buying some lubricant eye drops if it bothers you.

I once had it and lasted for more than a few days it was so annoying and quiet embarassing as it happened once when I was talking to a friend and it kept twitching...I asked my optometrist he said mainly due to stress/worry which was true as I was doing my finals at uni and very stressful degreee. After my exams it went away and never returned since
