42 Hours +lectures computer science
I'm starting to study CS at Birmingham and apparently we are meant to be putting in 42 (6 hours a day on average) hours of work on top of a busy timetable.
How realistic is this ? what did/do you do ?

Not very realistic. If I was doing that id be working from 9am until midnight most days apart from Wednesday and I have never done that. Ever.
