    Ranking of Brighton Uni
Im an international student applying for 2013 entry to universities in UK. I came across the University of Brighton and I really liked everything about it (including my course Media Studies). But when I looked at Brighton Uni's rankings it's pretty low down :\ Is there any specific reason as to why that is? Do you think Brighton Uni's rankings would go up in the upcoming years?

    THanks alot peeps!

It was a polytechnic -no I don't think its ranking is likely to improve.

If you like Brighton as a town you could always apply to Sussex, it's still in Brighton but it's quite a bit higher up the table in terms of overall rankings.

Brighton Uni is good for 'vocational' subjects like Art/Design, Media Studies. Its a great Uni with a very 'arty' atmosphere, and Brighton is a great place for a Media student to be - lots going on and interesting stuff to get involved with.

    Apply.

I doubt it. A university is very much the sum of the students that attend it and the faculty that teaches those students.
