academic appeal

heya
I got withdrawn from my 1st year due to attendence and poor performance during the year (had a lot of problems with depression). The programme leader didnt allow my informal appeal to let me back and gain the credits i need for my 2nd year. So now im doing an academic appeal. But i have to wait until the 3rd of October for a doctors appointment to have the evidence i need for the appeal. Which means my appeal won't be sorted out until mid to late October. Anybody know if i can simply change courses even if i have been withdrawn? As i really want to do Early Primary Education even though i was doing Advertising and Design. Another problem, i didnt do anything to do with child studies at all while doing my GCSE's and A Levels but did my work experience in a primary school.
Helpppp!

Would be best to speak to your student advisor. But as far I know some universities do allow an internal award transfer but it may have to be onto a different faculty award.
