Females! What should I wear to boxing classes?
    Hi,

I'm starting boxing classes to try and get fit and i'm not sure what clothes to buy. I know i'll need:

    - a sport bra
    - tank top
    - & bottoms
    - trainers

but i was wondering if I'll need anything else (nb: all equipment is provided). I was told to wear "gym-wear" but i've never been to the gym before or gone running/jogging (in fact the last time I did exercise was back in secondary school for PE).

Also in terms of the tank top & bottoms is there a special material i should look out for/ the colours that best hide sweat.
With boxing should I wear cropped leggings/full leggings or sweat pants?

Lastly what sort of trainers should I be looking at getting.

    TIA

You should wear whatever you feel comfy in. I personally prefer to train in bigger t shirts rather than tank tops and I like full length training tights or tracksuit bottoms. I don't know which is best suited to boxing, but what I would do is just go wearing something old and comfy and maybe see what other people are wearing?

Really doesn't matter. Just wear shorts or trackies and a tshirt or tank top and whatever trainers you have. Buy new kit after you get into it. If you are just starting, you don't even necessarily need wraps (although I would get them soonish along with a gum guard for sparring)

Also, most people who go to a boxing gym aren't the types to bother with picking colours to best hide sweat. It isn't something to be ashamed of you know!
