What's the Optimal weight for someone who is 5ft 7?

Hi I'm trying to lose some weight as I have gained quite a lot of weight over the past year. I'm 5 ft 7 and I weigh approx 90kg. What would be my optimal weight and what should I do to reach it?
I'm a 20 yr old male btw.

Hard to say. It depends on your bone structure as well as your height.

If you have a low level of body fat, at 5'7", you can look pretty muscular at even just 11-12 stone. More than that is getting fairly big. I would guess that there aren't many 5'7" tall guys who are much heavier than 14 stone without either a) carrying more than 12% body fat or b) using 'roids.

You can also look decent at ten stone though - look at welterweight boxers; they are normally around 5'7" and look good at 10.5 stone (66.5kg)

I'm 5 ft 7, 75kg and look damn awesome. Aim for that...

In all seriousness about 70-80kg would be good depending on amount of muscle you have and bodyfat % required...

I would recommend doing weight training(Anything simple like SS or SL 5*5 would do) as well when losing weight otherwise you could end up looking skinny fat at 75kg instead of awesome.
