Does anyone know the difference between these two course?

I'm interested in studying American studies and Film, radio and television with a year in the usa, at Canterbury Christ Church University as a combined course but I can't tell the difference between American studies WITH f,r and tv, and American studies ?AND f, r and tv.

I've tried phone the uni several times, but everytime I do I'm put to an answer phone person, which seems like a waist of a person to me, when they could actually train this person to be an advisor rather than to just sit there all day taking names and numbers, when an actual answer phone could do that.

Well anyway, if anyone on the course or who is also applying for the course could help, I'd really appreciate it!
"With" usually indicates that you will be spending more time on American Studies eg 75% of the time, whereas F, R and TV will be 25%. "And" means the time will be split about fifty-fifty.

'AND' would imply equal weighting of the two subjects, while 'WITH' would imply a higher weighting of the first subject.
