Very routine? its 23miles you simpleton. Theres a big difference between a bog standard 15000ft sky dive and a HALO/HAHO jump from 35,000ft let alone from 121,000ft which is what he's doing. Get a sense of perspective, £5 says you wouldnt have the cojones to jump off a plane still on the ground let alone anything greater.
Besides incaseit had escaped your notice a hell of a lot more can go wrong at that altitude...

Sure it's different, technically and operationally, but for him it's pretty much the same ****. If it was going to be hard for him, emotionally difficult, stressful or scary then he wouldn't be the right man for the job and they'd use someone who wasn't a pussy, you see?
