My loan has to be non-means tested and further reduced by £900 because I'm eligible for a NHS bursary, though that's not much either.
Aaaah I was gonna say, I was assessed for basic loan support and all the instalments were over £1000 but that explains it!
Check your student finance account. Mine changed from 'approved' to 'prepared' last night, should be due Thursday 28th so as long as it's submitted Tuesday morning it should be fine. The Bank Holiday isn't ideal, I have little faith in the Student Loan company and I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't take Friday/Monday into consideration.
