ah, has nobody explained the pleasures of the british rail system? if you using it alot buy a rail card for students, coz otherwise you'd pay an arm and a leg so to speak. and, ha, if your going cross country, its, erm, lush. jsut looked on the website. 3 changes from standsted to Eds, sing £24 [very cheap i'm surprised] op to £176.

lol! Couldn't resist - they are really cheap - and I mean really cheap. On the BMI baby site it says cost of flight £0.00  - taxes £15 and if you cancel you get taxes back anyway so you cannot lose! How can these airlines do these fees though  .

wow realy! I think I might have to check out their prices, Id much rather fly than drive (even though they would both probably take the same ammount of time from where I am when you consider check in and stuff)

It makes Scotland seem not too far away now as it is an hour and a half from my house to Cardiff; an hour flight and then three quaters of an hour from Edinburgh to St Andrews. Not bad at all really!

Re-reading my original post - it makes me seem a bit too confident when actually I am a nervous wreck!!!

Heh, you're not the only one who's like that. My parents always thought I was really cocky when it came to my exams, and my mum could never understand how I appeared to be so calm and collected when exam results came in when she was clearly a nervous wreck (she would always make comments about how she was so much more nervous about my exams than I was)...but that was nowt but a façade; deep down inside, I was bricking it
I finally out St A's down as my firm, it hadnt really sunk in till now!

I just realised, where are all the psychologists on this thread? I cant be the only one!

Psychology requires AAB because it, like International Relations, is a very popular course.

In fact, I can remember going out on a fresher's week pub crawl in first year, and during all the socialising, it seemed as if about half of the people on that pub crawl were doing IR and/or psychology.

My guess is birth year. Moser's age is 17 and without a birthday yet this year, that would make 88 the birth year.

very wise, sporkaphobia, very wise indeed :P

yeah, still 17, turning 18 on day of entry to St Andrews  !!

would you consider me as one of the younger guys there??

cheers,
.:moser:.
