Do predicted grades matter?

Sorry if this has been asked before but the search function isn't working.
I have a feeling I've been predicted ABB. If I apply to a uni with AAB requirements will they consider me?
It depends on how competitive your course is at your universities. Not being predicted the required grades is definitely not going to help you. I would have thought that if they have any places left or find other strong points in your application, they may still offer you a place, but it is likely to be an offer of AAB, regardles of whether you're predicted that or not. Probably, but I was predicted BBC for a BBB course and was rejected..
