More importantly, does your university allow it? At mine there was only one type of calculator allowed in any exam (this was set by the university not the department), the university bulk-bought lots of these calculators and sold them on to the students for cheap.

(in case you're wondering it was this one)

Usually graphing calculators are not allowed, but most scientific ones are. I've not seen one with the ability to perform calculus though.

Best thing to do is to send them an email or speak to your tutor and just ask. Some universities will require certain calculators and others are more lenient.

That rule has since changed :tongue:

There's now something like 5 approved calculators
