Reference help

Hey Guys,

Got a bit of a small problem, I'm English but have done all my studies in France, the problem is that I hate all my teachers and all my teachers hate me lool, so what do I do for my reference ? I have been working in my Grandad's insurance company since july ( he owns it but doesnt actually work there anymore ) Can I get a reference from one of the managers ? The universities won't know that its my grandads company will they ?

Simply because they cant comment on your *academic* ability. It will also look highly suspicious that you arent using someone from your school.

Even if the teachers at school dont 'like' you, they wont want to see you fail to get into Uni. Pick the least worst.
You can ... but it'll just look suspicious, so I'd strongly advise against it. Act like you've changed a lot and make a lot of effort for the next few weeks to make sure you're in their good books when they write your reference and ask the teacher who hates you least.
