Hey sorry to ask again, but does anyone know anything about engineering with a physics degree?
Someone I know (a friend of a friend) got a 1st from warwick and he's got a £35k starting salary at an engineering firm.

Did he have to do further training?

Ah, you name 3 good and interesting jobs that you need a physics degree to get then.

Its not about the degree. It's about the skills that have come with that degree. Physics graduates are highly employable in many fields, not related to physics directly. And yes physics grads are highly sought after. So many jobs will be created due to the nuclear industry, and who is gonna fill those gaps?
