We aren't allowed to leave school during frees except if you have a driving lesson. I normally talk and do some homework at the same time

We played lots and lots of cards :h:

They kept taking the packs off us and confiscating them.... So we just brought more out :colonhash: I must have lost upwards of 20 packs.

Best advice I'd give you is to work during your frees - honestly, it can save a lot of time and stress.
I go to the library in my frees and either do some homework or revision. I run away from my friends so that I don't end up sitting with them and doing nothing. :P

Homework if I have any, generally waste them if I don't, and revision a bit closer to exam time.

homework, revision, past papers, eating, sleeping, watching tv/films, going to the shop, socialising with friends, listening to music.

I'm not at 6th form any more, but when I was, I probably did work/revision about 20% of the time, chilled/socialised/talked/went to the local co-op (we thought we were cool  ) etc 60% of the time, and watched tv/movies on ma laptop 20% of the time. It can be hard to find peace and quiet to get work done when so much fun stuff is going on!

Sleeping mainly.
Sometimes if I'm feeling motivated I study in the library, but usually i'm in the common room talking to people. Or sometimes I sleep.

going for a coffee, either in the school cafeteria, the cafe across the street or Mcdonalds 2 miles away xD
Oh I miss school...
Procrastinating?
At the beginning of the year I had four free periods alongside three of supervised study (forced to sit in silence). I use one of my frees helping a Year 7 class to improve their reading, another one in an Extended Project lesson, a third will be used for extended project if it has to be and the last one is either sitting in the canteen or doing homework

If any of my friends have the same free period then it's usually spent talking in the canteen or internet cafe whilst pretending to do work. If not I usually try to do some work in the library but usually end up on my phone. If I've got a test during the day or its close to exams I'm pretty good at getting a lot of revision done.
Depends, if its a day where I only have 1 free then i'll spend that getting lunch and just taking a break with friends.
If its a day where I have a 2+ free's then i'll spend all but 1 in the library getting revision done.

When I was in my first year at college I had a free that coincided perfectly with a double bill of scrubs on E4...

What the hell, me too lol i was just about to write this!!

Yeah mostly id go home for the scrubs or sometimes stay and talk to mates if they were in at the same time. Nobody ever really did much work i don't think, it was probably the intention at the start of the year to do work in them, but nah just i used to just chill out in them lol.

Ahhh, back in the 6th form days, they go so fast - probably the best years of my life, enjoy!!
Go home and eat. Sometimes I'll go to the LRC if I'm in a sociable mood, but that's been rare recently.
I used to spend my 'study periods' just chilling in the study centre (needed to be registered for them), usually got some food out of the vending machine/cafeteria, hardly anyone did any work really. Did the same thing with most of my free periods, unless they were next to lunch in which case we'd sometimes go to Mcdonalds or at the end of the day I'd just go home.
So yeah, not very productive :p:

I didn't have too many actual free periods though, I had 5 study periods a week in year 12 and 5 study periods + 3 free periods in year 13.

I usually go to the Library or our Media Centre to do my homework. It decreases the piles of homework that you literallly have no time to do at home, and makes you feel a little better.

I do give myself a break from time to time!

Best way! Luckily you have 1 and half hour, I only have 50 minutes!
I have one hour every day and I normally spend it in the common room. Two days are before lunch so my friends and I go to tesco and eat in peace instead, or go for a hot chocolate to relax. Sixth form tough time you need a good balance

I usually went home, as I was a 15 minute walk away. If not, go out for food or just chill with friends in the common room. Very rarely did I do textbook work by myself - Sometimes group work with people in my class.

I did spend most of my GCSE and A-level lunch breaks in workshops doing design tech or electronics work though.

I have 15 free periods per week so I try to either do work, talk to people or watch films or TV shows online. Mostly though, I just go home.
