PS3s and Xbox 360s work over Resnet (wired), but not eduroam (WiFi). WiFi is standard in halls, though, so any laptops can be connected through WiFi when you're playing online.

Wifi is not standard in halls. The halls near the academic buildings or above have wifi but most halls don't have wifi.

I know WiFi is now standard in halls, because I am good friends with people who work at the ISS service desk who have told me such things. It was installed at the start of this academic year.

I'm living in halls right now. I don't have wifi. I'm currently sat in bed with a ethernet cable trailing from my wall to my laptop. If i had wifi available I would be using it. Some halls have wifi. Most do not.

I stand corrected. My apologies.
