PhD Funding

As an international student with Masters from a British University, struggling for a funded PhD projrct in UK university. Anyone knows information about any possible scholarship, or at least a tuition fees waiver?:confused:

It might be helpful if you say what your subject area is? Funding is more common in the sciences versus the humanities, for example. Or have you identified possible universities/supervisors that you might want to work with?

Look on findaphd.com and also on jobs.ac.uk for studentships in your subject area; contact the departments/supervisors that you're interested in, after having done a bit of research into their university's scholarships/bursaries, to ask about your project & its strengths, and whether you'd be likely to get anything from them. Are there any scholarships from your country that you could apply for? Or schemes like the Chevening, Fulbright, something like that?

Funding for PhD is extremely competitive for all students, even self funding students struggle to get supervision. You might be better to post this in the postgraduate forum of the student room.
