Which degree gives you the best career opportunities?

Which degree makes graduates most employable?

I don't know what to study at university either:

Law
English language
Geography
Politics

Probably not law as if it is an area you want to go into you can do a law conversion course after getting another degree.

English would have a good few transferrable skills like essay writing and subject analysis.

Geography would leave pathways open for more sciency subjects

Politics is quite specific so possibly wouldn't bring as many different opportunities as the others, but if it's an area you know for sure you're keen to go into the it'd be beneficial.

So in terms of the wideness in job opportunities, go for English or geography as you won't cut off your route to law that way, but consider whether politics is an area you'd prefer to go into over the others.
