Hey

i have an offer for law at queen marys and just wanted to know more about the accommodation there. what are the halls like? which are best? also, can you have people over to stay often?

You're technically meant to sign people in when they stay. Never happens. I had people staying all the time last year and it was never a problem. Feilden house I would say is the best option. Own bathroom, it's cheaper than France house which has a bath and you'll have a flat of 9 or 11 so as long as most of your flatmates are fun you'll have an awesome time. I lived there and loved it. Parties were great. It's also one of the nicest halls as it's the newest (I think). I would recommend that as your first choice, then pooley, then maybe france house (if you can afford it) and then the ones with shared bathrooms. I think Ivor Evans was pretty fun last year but the rest need a bit updating.
