Open University

Is it an internationally recognized university or just UK? Can you gain employment with their qualifications outside the UK?

A BA/Bsc Honours degree from the OU is the same as an honours degree from any university. It definitely will be recognised abroad.

It is recognised beyond the UK and has non UK based students enrolled. The caveat it is that some countries do not recognised qualifcations gained by online/distance learning partly due to the potential for cheating on assignments. So if you are thinking of working in the Middle East or some parts of Asia, it may not be suitable.

It's one of only a handful (2 I think but don't quote me) of universities accredited by a US accreditation organisation.

It all depends what you want to use the qualfication for and where. The countries that have problems with distance learning also have problems with in country branch universities of well known international universities. So OP, have a think about where you might want to use your qualification and in what capacity. In the current climate being fussy about where and how you gained your qualification is one way of reducing the number of candidates that need to be considered.
