I reckon that would be good.
Were you the person in the other thread who did bio and chem? If so, science sounds like something you're interested in.
I think that's a great idea, doing something you care about. I'm absolutely terrible at oral - really, really bad. i get totally tongue-tied and blank out - but it always seems to come more easily when i'm talking about something i know about/care about/am very interested in. Then i remember vocab better, and talk more naturally.

I sure am. I have found out ALOT of information about the museum, I simply have to structure the information and form a strong personal opinion about a few aspects of it which I already have in mind, then write it in french. Organising the information is what I have to do next. I am truly interested in science and technology so yeah, I think this is the ideal topic for me. It is just demonstrating particular skills that I am worried about. If I will be able to achieve all that is required with the topic I have.
