C1 series help please!

Can anyone please help me with this series question? I can't seem to get the same answer which is in the book.

The sum of the first two terms of an arithmetic series is 47.
The 13th term of this series is -62

Find the first term of the series and the common difference.

I suspect an error in the question, as I get some rather horrendous values.

What does the book say the answers are?

According to the book the difference is -3 and the first term is 25 but I got something like -7.4.... and 27.2 something.

OK, the question should read.

The 30th term of this series is -62
