Hi people! can anyone help me plx? why is it for (CrO4)^2- to Cr^3+, reagents of dilute H2SO4 and FeSO4 is used but for (Cr2O7)^2- to Cr^2+, reagents of Zn and dilute H2SO4 is used instead?

erm you could talk about how hydrogen is highly flammable so it has to be handled carefully when it is stored or transported. and also how the process isn't carbon neutral? i think :s-smilie:

Atomisation is just 1 chlorine molecules..but it asks for cl-cl so you have to double 121kjmol-1 and you get 242kjmol-1
