What are my chances of getting in? Please be candid.

I got all A's in my Olevels, but in my Alevels, i got an A in Math, B in physics and a D in chemistry. However, i dropped chem since the start of my second year and took up accounts instead. I want to go for the accounting and finance program at LSE. My projected grades for Math and Account are an A*, if that helps. What are my chances?

Accounting is a non-preferred subject for the LSE, it's in their prospectus. So you basically have two acceptable subjects at A-Levels and you will have to explain that D if it comes down to it. But you do have good O-Levels.

I'd say your chances seem good, if you can resolve that pesky accounting A-Level issue and write a really good PS.
