unsuccessful

Hey guys. i applied to the university of manchester. the decsion sent back via ucas was " unsuccessful". I got all A*s for IGCSE o/ls and 4As for GCE As level with which i applied. but myUKCAT score was 615. was that y i did not get an interview??
You should have done your research. Manchester puts a big emphasis on UKCAT and their cutoff is always quite high, much higher than 615.

email manchester. they wont tell you their current cut off when you're applying (probably because they havent determined one, they interview the top certain percentage, and the lowest of those is their cutoff) They will give you trends over the previous year though: i think its gradually gone up by 15 a year, and i think it was 645 two years ago perhaps slightly higher last year. sorry if this post makes little sense.. my brain is frazzled from all this medical revision for jan exams!
