Syllabus for this paper is at page 8 here: http://www.ocr.org.uk/images/68942-specification.pdf

Looks like the paper covers general points about the legal system of England and Wales, including key people and organisations, how a claim is brought in the civil courts, police powers, the court structure and sentencing.

This kind of paper probably doesn't really require much by way of in depth analysis, so the only real revision technique consists of going through the syllabus and making sure you have learnt the key points, rules and practices which apply. There are discussion questions though so you will need to make sure you know the commonly mentioned advantages/disadvantages and criticisms/proposed reforms.

Presumably you will have been taught something about all this already, or will be before Christmas; so you should already have notes on it. If not, get yourself an OCR revision guide; that should cover everything you need to know.

It may seem pretty daunting at first looking at how many rules and pieces of information you have to memorise, but look through the list and you may discover that you have already absorbed much of it already. Try to break down the rest in to sections, probably by the headings on the syllabus. Take each one at a time and try and come up with a useful way to digest the information. For example, draw a diagram of the court structure showing routes of appeal.

Once you've covered each section, try to figure out how it all fits together into what we call the English legal system - think about the general principles which it is trying to promote: fairness, openness, access to justice, efficiency and certainty (amongst others). This will help you answer the discussion questions.

There are a number of past papers from OCR available here for you to try: http://www.ocr.org.uk/qualifications/as-a-level-gce-law-h134-h534/. I'd suggest looking at one first to get a feel for the kind of questions you are going to be asked but then saving the rest of them until you have done the majority of your revision. Be wary of some of the older papers though as the law may have changed - in particular, watch out when you are looking at sentencing and public funding questions as these are areas where policy can change quite frequently, as it has recently.
