Non-Permanent position in the Security Council - Second round!

Hey all,
The run off vote for the avaliable non-permanent seat in the Security Council has begun!
The two countries are Tunisia and Finland. Here are their manifesto's!

Tunisia Tunisia has been an active member of the MUN and Arab League in recent times, despite widespread activity, and we think this stands us in good stead to take on the challenges and commitment of an SC country. Having helped to develop the electoral system of the Arab League, and as president nation appointed RoryS to chair a successful conference into potential solutions to the Syrian problem, Tunisia has proven her capability to act in a position of authority, and that she is a valuable member of the MUN. Not only should you vote for our outstanding record, but with no permanent African representation in the SC, and with the removal of Egypt as a non-perm SC member, the council is crying out for an African member, with such a vast continent needing representation on the global state. In the midst of several crises in the Arab world, an Arab state will provide a new dynamic to situations such as the one in Syria, and could really help to set the wheels in motion for the future of the middle east. Thank you for your time, and I hope that Tunisia can rely on your vote!

Finland

Finland's Manifesto for Non-Permanent Membership of the UNSC

We're neutral and non-aligned!
Although a member state of the EU, we're neutral, and part of the non-aligned movement. We believe this could bring balance between the US/UK/France, and Russia/China. We would act as as a good mediator.

We're in a great geo-strategic location!
We could bring a fresh new voice to the debate on Arctic mining rights. At present, the effects of climate change are destroying the far north of the planet, if you vote for Finland to the UNSC, we'll make sure that no decision is made which puts the Arctic into danger. It's in every everyone's best interests that this beautiful part of the planet is maintained and used sustainably.

Human rights will be one of our top priorities!
In 1906, we were the first country in the world to give full suffrage to every citizen within our boundaries, and we remain one of the best places for equal rights for female workers. If we become a non-permanent member of the UNSC, we'll make sure everything is in line with our record.

Bring fresh ideas to the SC and vote Finland!

Good luck to both. We believe both candidates (in fact all three, when you add Tuvalu) would make a fine addition to the security council
