The Student Room Group

Dilemma.....

Im 24 and since I lost my job I've decided I would like to go back in to higher education. I left 6th form with poor a levels (personal reasons)

I have a huge interest in psychology, and would like to study to become a Psychotherapist / Clinical Pscyhologist

I can't choose between whether I should do fast track A levels and get the proper grades I am capable of, then I can hopefully apply to a renowned institution (Kings College, UCL ) for an undergraduate degree. This also gives me a lot more flexibility incase I would like to apply for a secondary interest.

Or an access course e.g. http://www.bbk.ac.uk/study/ce2013/psychology/awards/UEHPSYCH.html
and http://www.candi.ac.uk/courses/factsheet/?tc=LL7008MT

What do you guys think is best?
