Yeah a few people have said democracy! It feels like an easy one but then as soon as I try and do it I have a mind blank and can only think of like two points. Good luck !!

I'm still wasting time I dont even know whats wrong with me!

Might just go to bed now and wake up at 6am and try to just read over things.
Good luck everyone!
Also, remember once we've done the exam we won't be able to discuss it until 4.30AM tomorow
Thought it was a lovely paper as the questions had come up before, but I think that means higher grade boundaries!

Exactly what I was going to say , I did the modern and classical liberal question essay question, what about you ?
Yeah I thought this paper was good, the classical / modern liberalism question was a dream. I just regurgitated an essay I had done for homework on the same thing the week before, tweaking it a bit to fit the question. I found a model answer in the unit guide afterwards that got an A with significantly less detail than I wrote in the exam, so I'm confident that my essay was good at least

I actually found the revisionist socialist 15 marker the hardest bit to be honest, I basically just said they've come to accept capitalism and instead are seeking to tame it, and strive for relative social equality rather than absolute social equality, and they believe it can be achieved through democratic means. Not sure if that's enough for a decent mark, but hopefully the rest of my answers hold me up

I did modern/classic too but not sure if made as much sense as it should have - hard to shove it all in 45 minutes.

would you mind linking the model answer?
I thought the paper was good! Except not sure how well I did.

I think for the 15 markers I panicked a bit and just looked and some of the words and just wrote anything, but then I think I did better in the 45 marker. I did the classical/modern Liberalism question too.
I was going to do the Conservative tradition and continuity one and started planning it and then just switched.

I looked at the 45 markers before I did anything else and circled both the tradition one and the classic/modern one, and when I'd finished the 15 markers I decided the classic/modern one would just be easier.
I did the 45 marker first and like all of you did mods and classical libs which went fairly well although I would have liked to add a few more explaniatory points to economic and social liberalism area as my last paragraph. The others question were not too bad although I don't know whether I answered them very well I did the revisionist one, marxist one and paternalism one all of which I understood but ran out of time a little to add the extra points I wanted to :/
I think the grade boundries will be quite high which is annoying, I only suggest this as many people at my college also thought the exam went ok to well.
Resitting GP02 on wednesday though so hopefully that will be a nice paper as well!
For the 15 markers I did the link between liberalism & constitutionalism, why & how Marx thought capitalism was doomed to collapse, and why anarchists think the state is evil & oppressive.

Hopefully that's clear enough. The question was 'Analyse similarities and differences between classical liberalism and modern liberalism', so not strictly as it was asked in the exam, but basically the same. It got 33/45
