It depends on hall, but generally:

breakfast: 8:00 - 8:45
lunch: 12:30 - 1:30
dinner: 5:30 - 6:30

weekend breakfast: 9:00 - 9:45

The only meals you dont get are weekend dinner. 19 meals a week is pretty damn good.

You can get packed lunches instead of walking back to hall yes. I think you can do it for dinner too, but ive never tried

In childs, meal times are same as fyska's hall. You can get a packed lunch but have to book it the day before. think you can do it for dinner but have never done it. on reflection, i should have done that a couple of times this year as had a lecture that fnished at 6 so missed all the "decent" food.

In St. Pats you get allocated 612 points each day. You can then use this to get whatever you want to eat each day. If you have lectures all day then buy a sandwich (180 points!) or baguette (200 points!), or if not stay for cooked lunch and/or tea. You don't have to book a packed lunch the day before like the other halls. You are also allowed in the 'Cafe' at any time between 8am and 7pm to spend you points.

If you want breakfast its generally available from 8am-10am, or get cooked food served between:
Lunch 12pm-1.30pm
Dinner 5.30pm-7pm

The food is alright but not the best thing your ever going to eat! There is always potato (50 points!) in some form to go with your main meal (150 points!) as well as some veg (26 points!). There is always at least one vegetarian meal (110 points!) available and a selection of salad (60 points per bowl!)... You can also get things like milk (35 points), orange juice (75 points), crisps (40 points) and biscuits (35 points) throughout the day...

Hope this helps...
