Can your IP address be traced over TSR?

I was DMing this person, who suddenly took a dislike to me and claims to be able to track my IP address.

Is this possible? I'm sort of worried, I like my privacy. If so I'll think twice about posting again.

Yep, or at least the Mods certainly can. The Mods know your IP address and therefore your location.

On the other hand, I'm not entirely sure if other users can know your IP address...

Ordinary members can't see any details about you beside what's on your profile page. Moderators are able to view IP addresses, but like all account details this information is kept private.
