Is Perth, Scotland a good place to live as a student? PLEASE HELP

I currently live just above the border of Scotland and I am considering applying for Music Business at the University of Highlands and Islands, which is a 4 year course. I could instead do a HNC in MB at a Glasgow College which is a 1 year course, I'm very familer with Glasgow as it's much closer than Perth and most of my friends live there. Unfortunately i'v never been to Perth and haven't really heard much about it, iv googled around a bit but still cant find much about live as a student there. Is there any uni students in Perth that can tell me what its like as a student? Or anybody who has a good idea?

Please help, Im very confused and stressed over this :frown:

No I'm from argyll in the sticks haha but will be going there next yr I'm just wondering how expensive flats are to rent as I won't be using student accommodation thanks x
