C4 differential equations

Does it matter whether you call your constant C or ln k? If yes, when do you call it c, and when do you call it ln k?

I called it ln k in this example and got the same answer except for that I got ''k'' instead of the A (last line)

It doesn't matter. I prefer ln k, but it's fine the way you've written it.

I think i'm missing something,

how do you know that C = ln k?

unless there are initial values of x and y you have not shared, you cannot use ln k, and so should use C.

It doesn't matter. lnk and C are still unknown constants either way.
