integration problem

hi guys, im totally clueless on this question. ive googled a similar question and it says the limits are 9pi and 0, but you also have to multiply the integrand by x. i think i know why the limits are 9pi and 0 but multiplying the integrand by x really confuses me. could anyone please shed some light on that?
thanks in advance:biggrin:

The mean or expectation of a continuous random variable is xf(x)  dx\int x f(x)\;dx.

oh my god, don't think we've learnt anything like that:frown: at first, i thought we should be using the formula: integrand/(b-a), where b and a are the limits...
Explanation here.
