On which type of plate do hotspot volcanoes usually occur?
Constructive (moving apart) e.g mid Atlantic ridge and Destructive (denser plate, usually oceanic crust sub ducting under the continental crust) they do occur in other places and if you would like to know just ask me :biggrin:

So they can occur at an oceanic crust as well as a continental crust right?
