Has anyone ever been kicked out of uni for missing lectures

I've pretty much been threatened with exclusion and was told to attend a meeting which I've missed due to thinking it was taking place on a Wednesday as opposed to a Monday - still turned up on Wednesday

Anyway, I explained via e-mail that being dyspraxic and keeping to appointments don't go well together and they didn't get back to me yet. Probably in the process of writing a letter to tell me to leave the university.

Any advice?
If you are really really apologetic they'll probably reorganise the meeting for you, but it depends on how nice the tutor is. I'd say email again and just say how much you're sorry for messing them about and emphasise how much you love you course and will be dedicated from now on!

In my experience these meetings tend to be only to give you a warning and aren't that serious... hopefully yours will have been the same :smile:
