Bold ones are micky mouse subjects

You've clearly never done Art if you think it's a Micky mouse subject.

You missed out GCSE Dance and PE

Anyway, I don't think it matters too much with GCSEs, no one hardly looks at them if you've studied further and everyone does the core ones anyway.

Double Science is not a mickey mouse subject because if employers do ask for Science GCSE, they usually ask for 2 (Core & Additional). Having all 3 GCSE Sciences is just an extra.

Ahh sorry, I forgot colouring in was such an academic discipline

Trust me, as much as I'm all for stuff... Art is very hard...

To get an A* you need like 97% raw marks... And that includes research, analysis, experimenting...

:puke: on that :badger:
This is my personal opinion. Remember, you should pick the subjects you are interested in and believe you will do well at. Don't pick subjects purely because of how other people perceive them, pick what you enjoy and what you think will be most relevant to your future career.

But since when has a Science been a mickey mouse subject?

not entirely true for double science - a lot of people (i.e me) didn't get the choice

You sound like a ****ing **** who only has academic skills and is probably going to lead an extremely boring, unfulfilled life. Just a note, most people choose subjects like art over History/triple science because it's what they enjoy, not just to brag about how many A*'s they got. Good luck in life, i have a feeling you will hate it.

Yes I only have academic skills, or 'proper' skills as I like to call them.

Argumentum ad hominem, doesn't really do anything. I find enjoyment in academic pursuits, so why would my life be unfulfilled/boring?

I quite enjoy life actually.

*Sigh* All I wanted was for people to label the subjects by the 5 criteria I listed. And yet the majority of this thread has turned into arguments. Why must this always happen on forums?
I can see that a few people are arguing over the reputation of Art and just thought I'd say that while it is perhaps not the most academic subject of all, there are subjects being taught which are far softer!

Because obviously people who do/did the subject will not appreciate another person calling it 'easy' or a 'mickey mouse subject'.

I understand that, but what I'm referring to is the aggressiveness of some of the posts, swearing, rudeness etc
