C3 major confusion!

Cotx=0 secx=0 cosecx=0 Why is it that cotx=0 is the only one that gives solutions? Doesn't writing Tanx= mean that it will be 1/0? And as far as I know that isn't mathematically possible, can someone please clear this up for me thank you

Think of it this way, cot x is 1/tan x, therefore if tan x = 1 / 0 then cot x = 0 / 1.

where tanx = 1/0 that is valid because the domain of tanx excludes 90, 270, etc where the asymptotes lie

whereas writing cosx = 1/0 is not valid because the domain of cosx is all real numbers

Yeh but we need it to be Tanx= to find x don't we??
