Will I be charged International fees or home fees?

Hi,

This year I applied for a Master degree at university. I didn't go because I would have had to pay international fees. This year, I got IDL in August. I did checked UKCISA website, which stated clearly that the first day of my course I need to be free from any residential restrictions. I don't have any issues with UKBA and never had any. In addition, for the past 3 years, I wasn't in fulltime education. For the past 3 1/2 years, I have been married and that was my purpose for staying here. The funny thing was, when I called the university, the admission officer said to me I need to be free from any residential restrictions for past 3 years?? I've been on spouse visa for 2 years and automatically this year would be on IDL and next year British citizen. These people that university employed clearly didn't know the law.
