I am going to be really dense here with my question so please point me in the right direction. For an essay I have to research and chart the progression of ABA techniques on non-clinical behaviour. Can anyone give me an example of non-clinical behaviour?
Do you reckon using positive reinforcement to stop someone interrupting is non-clinical? The lecturer gave us no input
I don't know about the whole 'non-clinical' bit but I work in ABA. It is used for anything from learning stuff like nouns and locations, to behaviour like self-injury or aggressive behaviours, or things that don't harm anyone like screaming. This is with pupils with autism.
