What careers can you go into with a Maths degree?

GCSE English grade will only be important if it's stated as a minimum requirement to apply for a graduate scheme. It's important to have evidence that shows you can communicate well if you want to be an actuary.

Examples could include report writing, any teaching you've done, extra-curricular activities where you interact with others. It is extremely competitive so anything that can make you stand out and talk about enthusiastically will help a lot.

The maths when you start out isn't difficult, there is just a lot of it to whilst working at the same time (which is the hardest bit in my opinion).


Well I've been getting As in A-level English Literature which seems to be more respected than English Language.
The point is that no matter how good your grades actuarial employers will be assessing you on a lot more.
