National Curriculum/school curriculum
In one way, this shouldn't be in this forum, however I felt it could open up a discussion about the current review of the national curriculum and how schools can and are adopting it.
I am currently stuck on what else to write about in my essay: who defines what counts as legitimate knowledge in the school curriculum?
I was wondering if anyone could give me any pointers in where to go with it.
However, I was wondering what people thought of the current review. How much say the teachers should have? Whether the national curriculum is a good idea or should the subjects and content taught in schools be left to the individual school?
