Next year in college I wish to take:

BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Engineering (Worth 3 A-Levels)
A Level Mathematics

But, I cannot take the A Level Mathematics because I achieved a C at GCSE, this is an requirement for most universities to study a BEng Degree.

My GCSE Grades:

Mathematics - C
English - C
Additional Science - C
BTEC First in Engineering - Distinction (4A's)
Business - B
ICT OCR Award - Pass (C)

Could I pay for the Edexcel A Level Maths course and do it? I will be recieving private tuition also.

Do I enter myself as a private candidate at an local exam centre?

Yes, just find a centre and pay the exam fees and do the exams.
There's no course fee to pay though you will have to buy text books.

Don't underestimate the challenge - starting from a GCSE grade C it's a lot to learn. Your first step should be to beef up your GCSE skills towards A/A* level - especially algebra and trigonometry. Any chance you could test your aptitude and work with a tutor to resit maths in the June?
