Geology careers

I'm currently year 12 and taking biology, chemistry, geography and German. I hope to go to university to study geology. I find the mining, oil, minerals and water industries really interesting. Just wondering how many jobs there is available globally for this field, and whether there are many jobs with high salaries. Many thanks :smile: Sam

Hey I'm a wannabe geologist too lol!
But my AS subjects are bio geo fine art and graphics (wanted to do an art degree) :/
Apparently geologists pay will go down in the near future as the field is very much saturated with tones of overqualified people :frown:
