Is CISI Investment Advice Diploma (IAD) (Private Client Route) for Private Banking?

Is the CISI Investment Advice Diploma (Private Client Route) designed for Private Banking/Private Bankers, whereas CII, IFS and Chartered Banker financial planner qualifications are for financial advisors not private bankers?

Also does anyone know any financial advisor or financial planner firms as big as Edward Jones in the UK?

Are the two main roles in Private Banking advising clients on what products to chose and managing a clients portfolio like a fund manager does?

If someone at Charles Schwab, which is a retail brokerage, is doing a CISIM Master in Wealth Management could this mean Charles Schwab us not just a retail brokerage or stockbroker, but also advises clients on which products or stocks to buy or could be a kind of a private bank/have a private banking division as well?
