Patrick Kluivert? Who played for Ajax, Milan and Newcastle as well as winning La Liga with Barca and is Holland's all time leading goalscorer.

The only english yellow teams I can currently think of are Norwich, Watfod and Burton Albion-I do believe that a Burton player would never have played at a high european level or been south-american born so that rules them out. I can only assume that it was a Norwich or Watfod player? Please say, that it's along these lines.

I was thinking Roque Junior. He won the Champions League with AC Milan, he's South American (from Brazil) and he played for Leeds United when they had a yellow kit but he wasn't their record signing.

I immediately thought of Roque Junior too as he is Brazilian, reached a CL final but he only lasted 6 months at Leeds (who had a yellow home kit at the time) and it was terrible run, might I add.

It's not Roque "ripped shirt" Junior.

The player I am talking about was a record signing when he signed but I shouldn't imagine he is now. He was signed by his club when they were in the Premier League so it's certainly not Burton Albion!

OK, another clue. He's black and not typically South American.

No it isn't Antonio Valencia.

OK, here's the next clue. When I say that he isn't typically South American I mean that he is Surinamese and so he has Dutch nationality.
