    Hello all,

I'm interested for statistical purposes as to what the age of the members of the board is here.

    Thanks,

    Im 18, 19 in October.

Is there a specific reason why your asking or is just out of interest?

Your categories fall down somewhat, if you're say 16, or 21...

Haha, true, apologies, anyone who is 21 post in the 16-21, anyone 16 post in the 16-21

Oh and its for a sociology module I'm taking, about the differences of internet usage amongst age groups, apparently very few people over 25 use forums and those that do tend to be of a certain societal type.

It is quite a big jump you have on some. I can understand the 30-39. But 16-21? I think they sohuld be narrowed down more if you want a more accurate result.

    10-12
    13-15
    16-18
    19-21
    21-23
    24+

If that's what you're looking for then surely it would have been better to have a catagory for 25+ and not a 21-29 catagory?

Maybe, but I like the pattern as it is

Because if you turn it on its side, it almost looks like someone being given the finger...

What societal type is that, Ferrus? I'm just curious since I'm one of the apparently few.

Well they tend to be those working within the IT/Techie industry.

Is this the most accurate forum to use this on though? Seeing as it is the "student" room most people are clearly going to be students, irrespective of whether or not 25 year olds use forums, given that there are relatively few students over 25.

Maybe you could try doing the same poll on a more general forum?
