C4 vectors and differential equations

any help would be much appreciated + good rep will be given-thanks :smile:

1. coordinates of point P (-1,2,-3) and Q (-5,2,3)

if O is the origin (0,0,0) show that OP is perpendicular to OQ

2. a mould in the form of a right circular cone is being reformed so that its volume remains constant at Vcm³, while its radius rcm and height hcm are varying

dr/dh = - Пr³/ 6V

V=1/3Пr²h

Find the value of r when h=4 to 1dp

thanks again

For 1. OP.OQ=xx'+yy'+zz'=-1*-5+2*2+-3*3=0 Thus OP is perpendicular to OQ
OP.OQ = (-1)(-5) + 2.2 + (-3)(3)
= 5+4-9
=0
Therefore perpendicular.
